1. Introduction and Governing Law

  • Ownership: "Balloons Co - Sole Proprietorship LLC" maintains the www.balloonsme.com Website ("Site").
  • Jurisdiction: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is our country of domicile.
  • Legal Framework: The governing law is the local law of the UAE, and all disputes shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in the UAE.
  • Sanctions Compliance: We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and sanctioned countries in accordance with the law of UAE.

2. User Eligibility and Account Responsibility

  • Age Restriction: Customers under the age of 18 shall not register as a User or transact on the website.
  • Account Security: The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account.
  • Record Keeping: Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

3. Payment and Tax Terms

  • Accepted Methods: Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED are accepted for payment.
  • VAT: A government-mandated 5% VAT is applicable to all orders.
  • Advance Payment: For all packages and decorations, a 50% non-refundable advance payment is required to confirm the booking. The remaining 50% must be paid upon installation.

4. Event Decorations and Rental Services

  • Rental Basis: All decor, bouncing castles, and mascots are provided on a rental basis for the event duration only.
  • Standard Duration: Package duration is for 3 hours only; extra hours will be charged separately.
  • Add-ons: Any extra services, decorations, or equipment added to a package will be billed separately.
  • Site Requirements: The setup location must have proper space, electricity access, and safe operating conditions.
  • Liability: Any damage caused to equipment by guests, children, or attendees is the client's responsibility.
  • Regional Fees: Delivery is within the UAE only. For setups outside Abu Dhabi city limits, an additional transport fee of AED 150 applies, and items are provided on a purchase basis rather than rental.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Standard Products and Bouquets: Cancellations and full refunds are applicable only if requested at least three (3) days before the scheduled delivery date.
  • Helium-Related Products: Orders involving helium cannot be canceled or changed within 10 hours of the delivery time.
  • Event Packages and Decorations: These require a three (3) day cancellation notice; however, the 50% advance payment remains non-refundable.
  • Processing: Refunds are credited to the original mode of payment and typically take 10 to 45 business days depending on the issuing bank.
  • No-Return Policy: No returns or exchanges are permitted once products have been purchased or delivered.

6. Product Performance and Safety

  • Availability: All orders are subject to product availability.
  • Balloons: Quality is affected by weather; they are best within a 10-hour period and recommended for indoors. Hi-Float™ can extend floating time for 24 to 36 hours.
  • Safety: Products must not be given to children under 12 without adult supervision.
  • Disclaimer: The company is not responsible for the misuse or performance of products after they have been delivered in good condition.
